March Fishing Report

Llyngwyn fishing report for March
The heaviest fish of the month was for Paul Ireland with a lovely brown trout of approximately 5 ½ lb. The fish was caught from the bank on a Diawl Bach and was released back to fight another day.
John Henderson of Rhayader had a cracking day in the boat landing 15 fish for an approximate combined weight of 24lb. These were taken on Cormorants.
Shaun Hall of Rhayader also had a great day with 15 fish being brought to the boat on a Squirmy Cat.
Steve Holroyd of Tenbury Wells had 15 from the bank on a Damsel and Ken Holroyd had 13 on buzzers.
Craig Bufton and Ron Cornwell both had 4lbers, one of 7 fish for both anglers. Craig on Diawl Bach, and Ron on a Humongous.
Best flies for March were – Diawl Bach, Cormorants, Buzzers, Damsels
