A very hot and sunny June made fishing conditions tough as the water temperature rose and the trout went off feeding and headed for the deeper and cooler water to escape the heat and the sun. Despite these difficult conditions there was some good catches using buzzers and dry flies. Early mornings and evenings seemed the ideal time to fish as the temperature and sun dropped the fishing came alive.
Well done to Steve Price who caught a monster 12lb rainbow, Mike Palfery had a bag of 8 caught on buzzers with the heaviest fish being 4lb. Mike Collins had a bag of 9 also with the heaviest being 4lb caught on a daddy. Steve Wilde had a bag of 6 and 4 on damsels and buzzers. Steve from Tenbury had a bag of 5 caught on buzzers with the heaviest also being 4lb.
