Congratulations to Roger Lewis who won yesterdays Rhayader Open fishing competition held at LLyngwyn.
Roger came first with his bag weighing 7lb 1 oz with a total of 15 anglers turning out on the day. 

Also, congratulations to Ben Evans who won the Junior competition with a bag weighing 8lb 8oz.

October was the month for the big fish at Llyngwyn:

Pat Sharman, Talgarth 8 lbs
G. George, Hay on Wye 7 lbs 8 oz
Rob Davies, Llandinam 6 lbs 8 oz
R. Ball, Beddgelert 5 lbs 8 oz
Gordon Bolton, Rhayader 4 lbs 8 oz
The big fish were going for various flies e.g. Cat's Whisker, Damsel, Blob, Buzzer, and Diawl Bach.
The Annual Fur and Feather Competition will be held at Llyngwyn on Sunday 18th December.
