Llyngwyn Fishing Report December 2019
 
December saw some great results despite the lousy weather and some large catches from off the 3 boats we have available at Llyngwyn with bags up to 24 fish and cracking rainbows up to 6lbs in weight.  There was also plenty of fish caught off the bank with the average bag of 4 fish in the range of 1½lbs – 6lbs.  Popular flies used include Damsels, Vivas & Cats Whiskers.  Again, it is great to see many anglers releasing fish to fight another day and using barbless hooks.
 
Thank you to all that braved it to make it to our annual Fur & Feather Competition at Llyngwyn.  It was a cold and challenging days fishing after a night of extremely heavy rain and all anglers had a great days fishing followed by a meal and presentation of prizes supplied by Bob the Butcher at the Lamb and Flag.

2nd Marco Orsi with 4 fish @ 7lbs
3rd Roger Lewis 4 fish @ 5.3lbs
