June 2022 fishing report.
An excellent start to the month saw the hatch of Coch y bonddu, the best seen down Llyngwyn for years. The hot weather in the middle of the month sent water temperatures high and the fish down into the deeper water. The anglers who fished with sinking lines still caught well. The last week after the rain and fresh winds has brought the fish back onto the surface with the dry fly the way to go. 4 fish in the 6-7 lb bracket have been caught and released. Top flys from the last week are shuttlecocks, foam beetles and hoppers.
